Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmacio Rudolfo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 7th playminute. Guerrero's Domingo Furtado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Guerrero from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Gilberto Shepherd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Petri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Victor Claus kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Laureano Ruy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Jerold took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zacarias Petri. Pirguita AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dalmacio Rudolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Domingo Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Sasoin charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Sasoin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Guerrero's Ivan Sasoin got a free kick in the 37th minute. Pirguita AFC's Dalmacio Rudolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute of the match Florentino Gipuzkoa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zacarias Petri skillfully saved the ball. Domingo Furtado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dalmacio Rudolfo in the 49th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilberto Shepherd stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Guerrero's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Abarca came free, but Domingo Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Pirguita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Gustau to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Guerrero's Gilberto Shepherd slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zacarias Petri. That made the score 1-2 after 59 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Pirguita AFC's Fernan Etxepare got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Pirguita AFC's Zacarias Petri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Shepherd in the 64th minute of play. Carolo Abarca took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingo Furtado. Domingo Furtado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 69 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Rudolfo notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Guerrero's Domingo Furtado. Domingo Furtado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Guerrero getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Victor Claus hit a great ball. If Dalmacio Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Guerrero's zone, Carolo Abarca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Furtado came out of the goal and Carolo Abarca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilberto Shepherd struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Zacarias Petri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guerrero. If Saul Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Felius short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Zacarias Petri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 89th minute Gilberto Shepherd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Petri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pirguita AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
