Pastor Theodore started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ben Hur's Luisito Crispo got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Fidel Su showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Kimetz, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Enrique Kimetz came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Casalins AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Kimetz couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Kimetz in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Su saved Ben Hur from getting behind. Luciano Perrando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ladislao Lop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladislao Lop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Cristofol, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ismael Cristofol hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Pastor Theodore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Su saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Perrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Lop having to interfere. Fidel Su showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Kimetz in the 33rd minute of the match. Casalins AFC's Enrique Kimetz got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Pastor Theodore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Perrando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 48 minutes of play, Ben Hur's Luciano Perrando made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ladislao Lop was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ceferino Gasteiz to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Ben Hur got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Resto. 60 minutes into the match, Ben Hur's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Theodore came free, but Fidel Su reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ben Hur's Ismael Cristofol got a free kick in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the game, Casalins AFC's Enrique Kimetz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fidel Su made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Francisco Koldo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Ben Hur's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Theodore came free, but Fidel Su reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genaro Remicio hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes Ben Hur got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Resto. With a little luck, Ben Hur's Fidel Su got control of the ball when Enrique Kimetz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ceferino Gasteiz struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ladislao Lop didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ben Hur. The referee gave Ben Hur a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Santo Gorri, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Casalins AFC's Ladislao Lop. 2-1. Ben Hur's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
