Zacarias Petri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Chorache, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Severino Urtsua hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Rudolfo got free with Evaristo Soter in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Buenos Aires's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Abarca came free, but Evaristo Soter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Dalmacio Chorache put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Zacarias Petri. Severino Urtsua struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Zacarias Petri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buenos Aires. Zacarias Petri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Chorache in the 32nd minute of play. Laureano Ruy made in the 34th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dalmacio Rudolfo however managed to control. Evaristo Soter made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Fernan Etxepare sent off a good shot on target. Higinio Abechuco kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Dalmacio Chorache might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zacarias Petri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmacio Chorache ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute, Dalmacio Chorache made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Petri. Pirguita AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 48th minute Dalmacio Chorache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Petri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Buenos Aires were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Carolo Abarca made the kick off in the second half. When Buenos Aires's Dalmacio Chorache in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 60thth minute of the game Dalmacio Chorache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirguita AFC's Zacarias Petri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The long shot by Wilfredo Kauldi in the 62nd minute really tested Zacarias Petri's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 63 minutes, Dalmacio Chorache made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Pirguita AFC's Zacarias Petri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Melquiades Rio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Pirguita AFC's Zacarias Petri got control of the ball when Dalmacio Chorache tried to sneak it across the goal line. Severino Urtsua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Buenos Aires's Dalmacio Chorache in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pirguita AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Zacarias Petri stood somewhat misplaced when Dalmacio Chorache came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 72 minute. Dalmacio Chorache struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Zacarias Petri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buenos Aires. Higinio Abechuco hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Carolo Abarca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Pirguita AFC's goalkeeper Zacarias Petri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Chumo. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pirguita AFC's goalkeeper Zacarias Petri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pirguita AFC's Dalmacio Rudolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Buenos Aires left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pirguita AFC.
