Guido Nastasio charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guido Nastasio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guido Nastasio hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Benet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingo Furtado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Guerrero booed when VSS Real Saladillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Noe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Felipe Jerold in the 8th minute really tested Doctor Manos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Doctor Manos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 11 minutes of play, VSS Real Saladillo's Saphet Cappoen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingo Furtado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Doctor Manos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Saul Feliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of VSS Real Saladillo booed when Guerrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Claus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Jeronimo Benet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Gilberto Shepherd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to VSS Real Saladillo getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Tiburcio Claude hit a great ball. Saul Feliu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Doctor Manos made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Saul Feliu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 37 minutes into the match, Guerrero's Gilberto Shepherd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doctor Manos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Serafin Noe kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Domingo Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saphet Cappoen in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, one of VSS Real Saladillo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, Guerrero's Felipe Jerold got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Doctor Manos. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saphet Cappoen to strike the kick off in the second half. If Saul Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saphet Cappoen in the 59th minute of play forced Guerrero's goalkeeper Domingo Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guerrero's Saul Feliu got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saul Feliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doctor Manos having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Shepherd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doctor Manos was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Saul Feliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Doctor Manos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Saphet Cappoen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guerrero's Saul Feliu got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. VSS Real Saladillo's Doctor Manos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Feliu in the 78th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saul Feliu during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Guerrero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Feliu to maneuver through the defense. Doctor Manos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Shepherd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeronimo Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doctor Manos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Feliu in the 90th minute of play. If Jeronimo Benet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute.
