Feliberto Ramos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Everardo Abascal. 9 minutes into the game, Buenos Aires's Dalmacio Chorache nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliberto Ramos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 16 minutes into the game, Sampdoria AC's Tadeo Poz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evaristo Soter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 23rd match minute, Sampdoria AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Mergildo to maneuver through the defense. Buenos Aires's Severino Urtsua managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gregorio Berenguer in the 27 minute of the game. Buenos Aires's Evaristo Soter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Poz in the 29th minute of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Tadeo Poz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buenos Aires's Evaristo Soter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dalmacio Chorache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evaristo Soter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Poz's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jacinto Lucila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sampdoria AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Lucila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Soter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliberto Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Urtsua in the 38th minute of play. Dalmacio Chorache had several of the Sampdoria AC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Feliberto Ramos as he didn't even see the shot coming. Evaristo Soter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Poz's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeo Poz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Severino Urtsua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sampdoria AC's Feliberto Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Buenos Aires's Dalmacio Chorache in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Feliberto Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Buenos Aires getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Everardo Abascal hit a great ball. Ariel Frans's late challenge caught a Buenos Aires's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ariel Frans helped the player get up and apologised. Ariel Frans kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Jacinto Lucila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sampdoria AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Lucila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Urtsua in the 90th minute of play forced Sampdoria AC's goalkeeper Feliberto Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmacio Chorache kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Buenos Aires's Evaristo Soter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Buenos Aires from getting a goal against them. The Buenos Aires players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
