Gilberto Shepherd was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. Guerrero's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 8th minute, Buque A.F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Saul Feliu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Victor Claus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Guerrero's Gilberto Shepherd in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ramiro Ortzi hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Guerrero's Felipe Jerold broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Buque A.F.C's Arsenio Baladi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Shepherd in the 23rd minute of play. Domingo Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Admon in the 25th minute of the match. Arsenio Baladi made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Saul Feliu sent off a good shot on target. If Gilberto Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenio Baladi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Feliu in the 37th minute. The supporters of Guerrero booed when Buque A.F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Afonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Buque A.F.C's Arsenio Baladi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Buque A.F.C from getting a goal against them. Arsenio Baladi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Saul Feliu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play. Saul Feliu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilberto Shepherd stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Saul Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Claus charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Saul Feliu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arsenio Baladi having to make a save. Arsenio Baladi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Shepherd, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Saul Feliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaac Gabon during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Buque A.F.C getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Isaac Gabon hit a great ball. If Saul Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Gilberto Shepherd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guerrero's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Shepherd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio Baladi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Saul Feliu came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Guerrero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Feliu couldn't finish the play. When Guerrero's Gilberto Shepherd in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buque A.F.C's goalie prevented a goal. 97 minutes into the game, Gilberto Shepherd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Arsenio Baladi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Guerrero were the better team. Guerrero's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
