With a left leg Genaro Eguen saved tottenham FC from getting behind. Atilano Monico hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Genaro Eguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Poz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 27 minutes of play tottenham FC's Miguel Mino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 28th match minute, tottenham FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Mino to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Sampdoria AC's Rodrigo Manny broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rolando Heriberto kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Feliberto Ramos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aquiles Quilino. Tadeo Poz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genaro Eguen having to make a save. In the 40th minute of the match Gilberto Mergildo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Genaro Eguen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Prudencio Frans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Jacinto Lucila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Genaro Eguen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After having played for 47 minutes, Jacinto Lucila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sampdoria AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Lucila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonides Laurendi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Tadeo Poz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but tottenham FC's Genaro Eguen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacinto Lucila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tadeo Poz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Genaro Eguen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jacinto Lucila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of tottenham FC booed when Sampdoria AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Mergildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Candido Pacorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Eguen having to interfere. Sampdoria AC's Tadeo Poz got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, tottenham FC's Aquiles Quilino got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, tottenham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Manny came free, but Genaro Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Heriberto charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. If Prudencio Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The tottenham FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sampdoria AC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
