Justino Lekubegi started the match with the kick off. When Sakura FC's Justino Lekubegi in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ElChoto's goalie prevented a goal. 6 minutes into the match, ElChoto's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Lekubegi came free, but Pedro Etor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Quintan hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10thth minute of the game Justino Lekubegi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ElChoto's Pedro Etor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Etor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Aires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rolando Aires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Benino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sakura FC's Carolo Basajaun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Sakura FC from getting a goal against them. Emiliano Benino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Carolo Basajaun made a huge save. In the 32nd match minute, ElChoto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Firman to maneuver through the defense. Roque Abeita kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Sakura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Flor came free, but Carolo Basajaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nemesio Millrick kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Adrian Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Carolo Basajaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Flor to make the kick off. Carolo Basajaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Benino in the 55th minute of play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind ElChoto's goalkeeper Pedro Etor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carolo Basajaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Benino in the 68th minute of the match. Pedro Etor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Lekubegi in the 71st minute of play. Rolando Aires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Pedro Etor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Sakura FC got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Millrick. In the 80th minute ElChoto were awarded a corner. Ciriaco Aznaro went to the cornerflag to take it. Omar Nevada charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omar Nevada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sakura FC booed when ElChoto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Nevada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Etor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justino Lekubegi's shot from short distance in the 91st minute.
