Severiano Perico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Etor having to interfere. Guaberto Nel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Flor in the 33rd minute of the match. Salvador Atarrabi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Etor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Salvador Atarrabi made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Flor in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guaberto Nel saved Chajarí FC from getting behind. Salvador Atarrabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Etor having to interfere. A collision led to Chajarí FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Leonides Regis hit a great ball. Guaberto Nel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Nevada in the 63rd minute of play. Chajarí FC's Guaberto Nel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Benino in the 64th minute of play. Eliseo Mateus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Etor having to make a save. In the 78th minute, Adrian Flor made a precise shot to the right of Guaberto Nel. Chajarí FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Guaberto Nel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emiliano Benino went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Salvador Atarrabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Etor having to interfere. When Severiano Perico came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Chajarí FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Perico couldn't finish the play. The ElChoto players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
