After 13 minutes, Silvio Cordarrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avellaneda and the Mulcahy AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silvio Cordarrell kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Elvio Tiadoro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvio Cordarrell's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Cordarrell in the 22nd minute of play forced Mulcahy AFC's goalkeeper Elvio Tiadoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Mulcahy AFC defense, Manuel Sabin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvio Tiadoro. The Mulcahy AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvio Tiadoro should have stopped the shot. After 26 played minutes Mulcahy AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Urdin. Manuel Sabin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Elvio Tiadoro made a huge save. Silvio Cordarrell was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Avellaneda's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 34th minute, Manuel Sabin made a precise shot to the right of Elvio Tiadoro. Mulcahy AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With a little luck, Mulcahy AFC's Elvio Tiadoro got control of the ball when Manuel Sabin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gualterio Santiago charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualterio Santiago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gualterio Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The audience was convinced that Silvio Cordarrell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elvio Tiadoro was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Mulcahy AFC's zone, Manuel Sabin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Tiadoro came out of the goal and Manuel Sabin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elvio Tiadoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Sabin, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mulcahy AFC's zone, Silvio Cordarrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Tiadoro came out of the goal and Silvio Cordarrell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Manuel Sabin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mulcahy AFC's goalkeeper Elvio Tiadoro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manuel Sabin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Manuel Sabin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avellaneda's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Sabin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvio Tiadoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximo Bernebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Manuel Sabin came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Avellaneda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Sabin couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Mulcahy AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Cordarrell came free, but Elvio Tiadoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Sabin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Tiadoro having to interfere. Manuel Sabin struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Elvio Tiadoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avellaneda.
