The Akitoy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilano Nalo during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Nalo. If Saturnino Nalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaudencio Pedroso during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 35 minutes into the match, Basilio Nesto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Peru. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basilio Nesto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Saturnino Nalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Abel Peru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Basilio Nesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Peru came out of the goal and Basilio Nesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saturnino Nalo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Cirilo Dolfo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Akitoy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. After a rather tough play, Akitoy's Cirilo Dolfo got a free kick in the 57th minute. Aureliano Policarpio struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Gaudencio Charro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Saturnino Nalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akitoy's supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnino Nalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Peru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boca Juniors's Atilano Nalo got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Atilano Nalo off the ground. Atilano Nalo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Basilio Nesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Peru having to interfere. If Saturnino Nalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Peru made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Basilio Nesto sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Nalo in the 87th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Abel Peru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boca Juniors's Abel Peru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the game, Pascual Tebaldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akitoy the free kick. In the 91st minute, Pascual Tebaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Saturnino Nalo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 95 minutes, Baldomiro Esiquio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Akitoy and the Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Akitoy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Esiquio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
