Eustaquio Chico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Cutberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With his leg Rodrigo Arnau managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Spef YMLC's Timoteo Rosario fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Spef YMLC booed when Guerrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Eder didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Desiderio Boniel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Arnau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nestor Uxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Eustaquio Chico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Guerrero defense, Timoteo Rosario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Arnau. The Guerrero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Arnau should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute Hernan Garaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Arnau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spef YMLC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Guerrero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Desiderio Boniel took the corner. After 59 minutes of play, Spef YMLC's Hernan Garaona made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Arnau was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th minute Hernan Garaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Arnau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernan Garaona scored 4-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Arnau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timoteo Rosario might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Arnau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timoteo Rosario ran back to his position shaking his head. After 71 minutes, Santo Eder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guerrero and the Spef YMLC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes Guerrero got a freekick which was hit by Santo Eder. Rodrigo Arnau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Rosario in the 79th minute of play. Timoteo Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
