With a little luck, Belgrano Football Club's Modesto Sasoin got control of the ball when Candido Maurin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Xabier kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Clun Atletico River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Felix Ubendu. After a defensive mix-up in Clun Atletico River Plate's zone, Marcos Sotil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Oihenarte came out of the goal and Marcos Sotil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Modesto Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Teodor in the 14th minute of play. Julian Xabier kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Alonzo Raebert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Modesto Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Sasoin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Kusko in the 23rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Clun Atletico River Plate's Pastor Kusko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Modesto Sasoin. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. Candido Maurin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Modesto Sasoin made a huge save. Candido Maurin kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Belgrano Football Club's Roman Diagur got a free kick in the 38th minute. Candido Maurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Angel Teodor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raimundo Raymon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Modesto Oihenarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimundo Raymon was the one to do the kick off. Clun Atletico River Plate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Constantino Jesco in the 54th minute. Clun Atletico River Plate's Constantino Jesco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Modesto Sasoin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 60th minute Raimundo Raymon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Belgrano Football Club booed when Clun Atletico River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Jaizki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clun Atletico River Plate's goalkeeper Modesto Oihenarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pastor Kusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Modesto Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belgrano Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Teodor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Oihenarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute Raimundo Raymon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modesto Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Raymon in the 79th minute of the match. Modesto Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Raymon in the 81st minute of play. Candido Maurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Modesto Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonzo Raebert during the 86th minute. Modesto Sasoin came out of the goal and Pastor Kusko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angel Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Oihenarte having to interfere. Belgrano Football Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
