Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Feliberto Cloyo started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Feliberto Cloyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fulgura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Cloyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonatan Chayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Eustaquio Chico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Reynaldo Franco had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Hernan Garaona fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spef YMLC's protests and gave Hernan Garaona a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fulgura booed when Spef YMLC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Garaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustaquio Chico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Chayo in the 16th minute of the match. The throw-in from Blas Iratzeder in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fulgura's Gustavo Sotil. Neil Boothey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Chico having to interfere. If Neil Boothey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes in the game, Jonatan Chayo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eustaquio Chico having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Fulgura's Jonatan Chayo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Siro Gauargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Garaona in the 33rd minute of play. Desiderio Boniel, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Spef YMLC's zone, Jonatan Chayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Chico came out of the goal and Jonatan Chayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Jonatan Chayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Chico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Spef YMLC's goal looked a bit too open when Neil Boothey came free, but Eustaquio Chico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hernan Garaona made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Neil Boothey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Chico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 minutes of play, Fulgura's Maximo Gabrio made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustaquio Chico was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timoteo Rosario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Siro Gauargi made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandru Lechințan during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Fulgura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandru Lechințan to maneuver through the defense. Spef YMLC's Desiderio Boniel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 67th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Siro Gauargi but with some difficulty. Jonatan Chayo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eustaquio Chico having to make a save. Neil Boothey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Eustaquio Chico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Spef YMLC's Eustaquio Chico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Chayo in the 78th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Siro Gauargi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hernan Garaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
