In the 39th minute Feliberto Cloyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Min saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Min showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandru Lechințan in the 41st minute of the match. Jonatan Chayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Min having to interfere. After the first half Fulgura were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the match, Ranchillos's goalkeeper Natalio Min had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliberto Cloyo. After a defensive mix-up in Ranchillos's zone, Reynaldo Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natalio Min came out of the goal and Reynaldo Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ranchillos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Natalio Min took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Chayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgura's attentive Gustavo Sotil managed to snatch the ball when Erubiel Berasko made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. When Fulgura's Feliberto Cloyo in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A well-hit corner resulted in Jonatan Chayo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 66 minutes into the match, Ranchillos's goal looked a bit too open when Neil Boothey came free, but Natalio Min reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natalio Min was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximo Gabrio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 67 minute of play. Neil Boothey took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natalio Min. Natalio Min dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 73 minutes into the match, Ranchillos's goalkeeper Natalio Min had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neil Boothey. After 74 played minutes Fulgura got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Cloyo. A collision led to Ranchillos getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Benito Loiola hit a great ball. Fulgura's Jonatan Chayo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natalio Min stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliberto Cloyo's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Alexandru Lechințan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Natalio Min tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Fulgura could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ranchillos throughout the match.
