Spef YMLC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgrano Football Club the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernan Garaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Garaona in the 54th minute of play forced Belgrano Football Club's goalkeeper Modesto Sasoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modesto Sasoin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Rosario in the 55th minute of play. Angel Teodor might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustaquio Chico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angel Teodor ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Belgrano Football Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Spef YMLC.
