JuanPIccoli FC's Godfredo Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Kusko in the 16th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Clun Atletico River Plate's Pastor Kusko in the 37th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Godfredo Gaizko was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for JuanPIccoli FC through an amazing save. In the 68th minute Pastor Kusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Gaizko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The JuanPIccoli FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing JuanPIccoli FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
