The referee ignored Fulgura's protests and gave Rodolfo Xabat a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fulgura getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Rodolfo Xabat hit a great ball. Maximo Gabrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Gaizko having to interfere. In the 12th minute Ignacio Demesio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Gauargi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ignacio Demesio came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the JuanPIccoli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Demesio couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind JuanPIccoli FC's goalkeeper Godfredo Gaizko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Feliberto Cloyo put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Godfredo Gaizko. The audience was convinced that Jonatan Chayo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godfredo Gaizko was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, JuanPIccoli FC's Remigio Pacorro got a free kick in the 24th minute. Godfredo Gaizko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Cloyo in the 32nd minute of the match. JuanPIccoli FC's Godfredo Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Gabrio in the 33rd minute of play. Godfredo Gaizko was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Feliberto Cloyo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Filiberto Otsando recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Godfredo Gaizko. Filiberto Otsando showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Neil Boothey did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Godfredo Gaizko 45 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliberto Cloyo to make the kick off. JuanPIccoli FC's Godfredo Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Cloyo in the 53rd minute of play. Godfredo Gaizko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Cloyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. JuanPIccoli FC's Godfredo Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Boothey in the 55th minute of play. Godfredo Gaizko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Sotil in the 57th minute of the match. Humberto Giro hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Maximo Gabrio came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Fulgura fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Cloyo in the 65th minute of play forced JuanPIccoli FC's goalkeeper Godfredo Gaizko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Feliberto Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfredo Herrera hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Neil Boothey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Godfredo Gaizko. JuanPIccoli FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 75th match minute, Fulgura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Franco to maneuver through the defense. Siro Gauargi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Flavio Paskal. JuanPIccoli FC's Godfredo Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Otsando in the 82nd minute of play. Fulgura's Maximo Gabrio got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Feliberto Cloyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Gaizko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fulgura's Feliberto Cloyo in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JuanPIccoli FC's goalie prevented a goal. Godfredo Gaizko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Cloyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgura walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
