Nistor Udrescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Haritz in the 10th minute of the match. Nistor Udrescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Bembe, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Inocencio Ruy fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors's protests and gave Inocencio Ruy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Ruy to maneuver through the defense. After 17 played minutes, La Florida's Danilo Azevedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nistor Udrescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Florida reached it. Nistor Udrescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Bembe, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of La Florida booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Jacob didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boca Juniors's Nistor Udrescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Bembe in the 23rd minute of play. Gogo Txomin's late challenge caught a La Florida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gogo Txomin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Celedonio Haritz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nistor Udrescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 30th minute Celedonio Haritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Udrescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Raul Nikola managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Florida's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Nikola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nistor Udrescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, Raul Nikola made a precise shot to the right of Nistor Udrescu. Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Inocencio Ruy fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 35th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Celedonio Haritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Udrescu having to interfere. After the first half La Florida were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Jonas Bembe took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Nistor Udrescu to make any attempt to save it. Boca Juniors's Inocencio Ruy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Danilo Azevedo, made in the 56th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celedonio Haritz got free with Nistor Udrescu in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when La Florida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Nafarroa. Boca Juniors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Celedonio Haritz scored to the left of an out of position Nistor Udrescu, making the score, 0-6. 70 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Nistor Udrescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Haritz. Thanks to some nice moves Celedonio Haritz could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Nistor Udrescu however easily saved by the left post. 75 minutes in the game, Domingos Todor fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nistor Udrescu having to interfere. Celedonio Haritz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Nistor Udrescu made a huge save. Nistor Udrescu made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Celedonio Haritz sent off a good shot on target. Nistor Udrescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celedonio Haritz in the 88th minute. Domingos Todor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Nistor Udrescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. German Cordairo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Chucho having to interfere. The La Florida supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La Florida would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
