An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Ticho in the 18th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Nistor Udrescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MataCipayos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nayef Al Mansor in the 19th minute. Nistor Udrescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Lano in the 20th minute of the match. Nayef Al Mansor's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nistor Udrescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 62 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Betadur. 64 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Domeka came free, but Nistor Udrescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nayef Al Mansor got free with Nistor Udrescu in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute German Cordairo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Argina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Jacob to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Domeka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nistor Udrescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nistor Udrescu made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Nayef Al Mansor sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the game, MataCipayos's Nayef Al Mansor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nistor Udrescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After some careless play in the Boca Juniors defense, Nayef Al Mansor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nistor Udrescu. The Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nistor Udrescu should have stopped the shot. When the match was over MataCipayos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Boca Juniors throughout the match.
