Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) Lechuza FC's Victorio Xabel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Xabel in the 7th minute of play forced Atlético Tucumán's goalkeeper Celedonio Hodei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Heli hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Atlético Tucumán's Celedonio Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Xabel in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, Lechuza FC's Abelardo Lizbeth got control of the ball when Basilio Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abelardo Lizbeth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Nataniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorio Xabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Celedonio Hodei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amancio Adrio hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Dante Neto took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celedonio Hodei. Celedonio Hodei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dante Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Hodei having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Lechuza FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Lizbeth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basilio Alvarez. Abelardo Lizbeth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Nataniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basilio Alvarez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Abelardo Lizbeth when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 39th match minute, Atlético Tucumán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Nataniel to maneuver through the defense. Lechuza FC's Dante Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

If Basilio Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Basilio Alvarez came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Atlético Tucumán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Alvarez couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Nataniel in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Lizbeth saved Lechuza FC from getting behind. Abelardo Lizbeth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Victorio Xabel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lechuza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorio Xabel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celedonio Hodei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Victorio Xabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Victorio Xabel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celedonio Hodei, 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Victorio Xabel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Celedonio Hodei. That made the score 0-3 in the 81 minute of play. Fabian Montrel kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Xabel in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celedonio Hodei saved Atlético Tucumán from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lechuza FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
