Spectators: 7263 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Denis Venceslas kicked off to start the match. Esteve Guillelmus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ignacio Vigil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jimeno Oalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimeno Oalo in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Francis saved Boca Juniors U18 from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Jimeno Oalo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Melo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gustavo Francis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Oalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Boca Juniors U18 getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Francisco Esiquio hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors U18's Haroldo Abel got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 34th minute, Melo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Haroldo Abel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Denis Venceslas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Esteve Guillelmus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignacio Vigil. Melo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteve Guillelmus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florencio Abel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jimeno Oalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Francis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimeno Oalo went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haroldo Abel during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Boca Juniors U18 getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Haroldo Abel hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Jimeno Oalo could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Gustavo Francis however easily saved by the left post. Gustavo Francis was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Jimeno Oalo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jimeno Oalo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Jimeno Oalo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Francis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Denis Venceslas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Melo's Ivan Gutxi got a free kick in the 87th minute. Jimeno Oalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Gustavo Francis made a huge save. 97 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors U18's Florencio Abel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignacio Vigil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Melo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
