Callao Futbol Club's Lucio Belasko got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteve Guillelmus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Francis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucio Belasko in the 21st minute. Florencio Abel succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Danilo Corderun hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Gustavo Francis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Henry in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Boca Juniors U18 getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors U18's goalkeeper Gustavo Francis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute David Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Francis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Belaskos short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Gustavo Francis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Henry to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Callao Futbol Club's Lucio Belasko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Francis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Callao Futbol Club's David Henry got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Francis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Lucio Belasko put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gustavo Francis. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Callao Futbol Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Boca Juniors U18 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
