After a rather tough play, Marlboro F.C.'s Marcelo Guerau got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Boca juniors's Benjamin Nafarroa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Daniel Ongile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Teo Lluques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximiliano Ferrer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Sidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Mauricio Sidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Ferrer having to interfere. In the 20thth minute of the game Mauricio Sidro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca juniors's Maximiliano Ferrer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute Mauricio Sidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Ferrer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Marlboro F.C. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Isaac Oihan hit a great ball. Benjamin Nafarroa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Daniel Ongile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Anibal Arotza put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Teo Lluques. 42 minutes into the game, Mauricio Sidro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Maximiliano Ferrer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 48 minutes into the game, Marlboro F.C.'s Mauricio Sidro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano Ferrer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Boca juniors players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marlboro F.C. were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Ongile made a kick off. Jaime Xabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Maximiliano Ferrer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teo Lluques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Ongile in the 59th minute of the match. When Fabricio Oihan fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marlboro F.C.'s protests and gave Fabricio Oihan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th match minute, Marlboro F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Oihan to maneuver through the defense. Teo Lluques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Ongile in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Ongile in the 68th minute of play forced Marlboro F.C.'s goalkeeper Teo Lluques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Ferrer made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Timoteo Blai sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Marlboro F.C.'s zone, Anibal Arotza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Lluques came out of the goal and Anibal Arotza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Daniel Ongile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timoteo Blai charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
