Hernan Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Barrow's Danilo Galo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teo Santana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Barrow booed when santamarina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Rocendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Favila kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Lorenzo Mark's late challenge caught a Barrow's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenzo Mark helped the player get up and apologised. Teo Santana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teo Santana was a little too slow when Danilo Galo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 2-1. 47 minutes into the match, Raul Bernad notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Barrow's Cirilo Cordara. Cirilo Cordara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Garin to make the kick off. With a little luck, Barrow's Cirilo Cordara got control of the ball when Raul Bernad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danilo Galo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Teo Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes of play santamarina's Lorenzo Mark was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 80 minutes, Danilo Galo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrow's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Galo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prudencio Evis hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When Barrow's Danilo Galo in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye santamarina's goalie prevented a goal. Raul Bernad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cirilo Cordara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Nereo Rocendo struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Cirilo Cordara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for santamarina. Cirilo Cordara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Bernad in the 93rd minute. Danilo Galo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Teo Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. santamarina walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
