Spectators: 7293 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 144) After a defensive mix-up in Barrow's zone, Iker Vermudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cirilo Cordara came out of the goal and Iker Vermudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Oalo came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrow's Danilo Galo. But to his dismay, Danilo Galo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Melchor Chuse hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Danilo Galo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Oalo having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Royal Never Give Up's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Garin came free, but Osvaldo Oalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Danilo Galo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrow fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Royal Never Give Up's Prudencio Policarpio got a free kick in the 38th minute. Barrow's Lucio Gutxi got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Garin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Danilo Galo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iker Vermudo to strike the kick off in the second half. Iker Vermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Cordara having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Barrow:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Royal Never Give Up:s goal. Serafin Normando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Serafin Normando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Cordara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Barrow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Favila to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Favila hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Mario Garin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Oalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Iker Vermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Royal Never Give Up getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Carlos Galsino hit a great ball. Candido Salvino didn't quite understand what happened when in the 97 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Barrow played a much better game than Royal Never Give Up and deserved their victory. The Royal Never Give Up players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
