Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Koke Branca to make the kick off. After some careless play in the VELEZ contra AFAno defense, Koke Branca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornelio Frasco. The VELEZ contra AFAno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornelio Frasco should have stopped the shot. Eriberto Txordon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Antonio Faro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eriberto Txordon, 5-2.
