Ivan Chuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Rosario in the 28th minute of play forced JUVENILES F.C's goalkeeper Baltasar Iratxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Iratxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Rosario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to JUVENILES F.C getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Delmar Bastian hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Julio Rosario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Iratxo was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermin Loramendi got free with Baltasar Iratxo in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ivan Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ivan Chuan made the kick off in the second half. JUVENILES F.C's Astor Innocenzio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sebastian Tristan, made in the 58th minute of the game. Ivan Chuan kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. JUVENILES F.C's Baltasar Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Rosario in the 63rd minute of play. If Fermin Loramendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, JUVENILES F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Errapel came free, but Baltasar Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Julio Rosario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Julio Rosario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JUVENILES F.C the free kick. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Julio Rosario hit a great ball. JUVENILES F.C's Astor Innocenzio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sebastian Tristan in the 81 minute of the game. In the 88th minute Fermin Loramendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Iratxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Firme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The River Plate players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
