Deportivo Moron's Fabio Napier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Jaume in the 18th minute of play. Bernabe Jacob received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aquilino Furtado came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernabe Jacob slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Bernabe Jacob's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquilino Furtado was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Abel Tiso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fabio Napier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Napier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Cornelio Jaumes short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Fabio Napier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Abel Tiso came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fabio Napier could save by the left post. In the 63rd minute, Abel Tiso made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Napier. Deportivo Moron's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Deportivo Moron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente Dolores the free kick. In the 86th minute Cornelio Jaume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Napier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Moron's zone, Cornelio Jaume stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Napier came out of the goal and Cornelio Jaume tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Independiente Dolores were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
