After 5 minutes, Virgilio Txaran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Moron and the Italbate AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Italbate AFC booed when Deportivo Moron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Txaran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauricio Manex scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Napier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Cortez in the 12th minute of play forced Deportivo Moron's goalkeeper Fabio Napier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Xabier kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bernabe Jacob's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalmacio Playo was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Dalmacio Playo made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Arsenio Laurgain sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsenio Laurgain got free with Dalmacio Playo in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Italbate AFC's Dalmacio Playo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Jacob in the 42nd minute of play. Mauricio Manex took the ball and in the 49 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Napier. Fabio Napier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After the first half Italbate AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florencio Cortez to make the kick off. Arsenio Laurgain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Playo having to interfere. Arsenio Laurgain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dalmacio Playo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmacio Playo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arsenio Laurgain went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Bernabe Jacob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Italbate AFC's zone, Raul Elizardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmacio Playo came out of the goal and Raul Elizardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalmacio Playo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Jacob, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmacio Playo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernabe Jacob's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. A collision led to Italbate AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Rigoberto Estefan hit a great ball. Dalmacio Playo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Jacob, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Florencio Cortez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Jacob couldn't finish the play. Arsenio Laurgain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98thth minute of the game Bernabe Jacob who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italbate AFC's Dalmacio Playo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Although Deportivo Moron had been in control for most of the match, Italbate AFC still came away with the win.
