A collision led to Italbate AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Rigoberto Estefan hit a great ball. Cristobal Xabier hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute of the match Godfredo Salomone shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dalmacio Playo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristobal Xabier's late challenge caught a CABJ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristobal Xabier helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CABJ booed when Italbate AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Xabier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Italbate AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Oriol came free, but Dalmacio Playo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes Italbate AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Estefan. Godfredo Salomone shot from long distance in the 26th minute, but Dalmacio Playo was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Emilio Oriol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Playo having to interfere. After 31 played minutes CABJ got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Dimo. Timoteo Criston in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dalmacio Playo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Criston got free with Dalmacio Playo in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florencio Cortez made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Timoteo Criston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CABJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Italbate AFC the free kick. A collision led to CABJ getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Timoteo Criston hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, CABJ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mauricio Manex fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A hard shot by Leonardo Franco from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Roberto Gorri's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 61 played minutes Florencio Cortez rounded CABJ's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Dalmacio Playo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Oriol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Italbate AFC's Cristobal Xabier got a free kick in the 66th minute. The corner ended in Godfredo Salomone almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Italbate AFC's Dalmacio Playo did a great save. Timoteo Criston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dalmacio Playo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italbate AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Playo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 86 played minutes CABJ got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Criston. Italbate AFC's Dalmacio Playo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Oriol in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Timoteo Criston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CABJ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Criston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilio Oriol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Playo having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Italbate AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
