Lino Abascal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Socorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Lino Abascal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Suarez in the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Joel Socorro got in the 53rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Lino Abascal handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. ROSARIO CENTRAL's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Suarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Abascal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
