Inocencio Todor's late challenge caught a Cochequingam's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inocencio Todor helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Awados getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Inocencio Todor hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Fidel Demesio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Awados's Lino Abascal didn't even have to move. When Severiano Pero came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Cochequingam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Pero couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Cochequingam's zone, Edgard Eutropio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Ixona came out of the goal and Edgard Eutropio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the game, Guido Nesto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cochequingam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Awados the free kick. A collision led to Cochequingam getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Awados's Lino Abascal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Awados from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute Severiano Pero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Abascal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match, Hipolito Kusko got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lino Abascal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Awados booed when Cochequingam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Nesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th match minute, Cochequingam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Nesto to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Severiano Pero in the 45th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hipolito Kusko in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Abascal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severiano Pero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute.
