If Mauricio Vigil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ROSARIO CENTRAL booed when Tabladitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Satordi charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Satordi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Joel Socorro came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the ROSARIO CENTRAL fans jumped to their feet. Adan Ayala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Joel Socorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauricio Vigil was the one to do the kick off. Godofredo Odon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Suarez in the 54th minute of the match. Fabian Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Odon having to interfere. Marcial Selmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Adan Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Candido Galindo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Vigil in the 64th minute of play forced ROSARIO CENTRAL's goalkeeper Adan Ayala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adan Ayala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Marcial Selmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Bartuelo got free with Adan Ayala in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ROSARIO CENTRAL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Delmar Bartuelo scored to the left of an out of position Adan Ayala, making the score, 1-4. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by ROSARIO CENTRAL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Domingo Goyo was slow to take the kick. During this time Tabladitas's players had a chance to rest. The Tabladitas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
