If Maximo Astigar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Vertientes's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Mannie came free, but Eloy Ignazio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th match minute, Vertientes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Hustaz to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Maximo Astigar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Ignazio was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Todd FC's goalkeeper Maximino Txomin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vertientes's Eloy Ignazio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Astigar in the 12th minute of play. When Adrian Rico fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vertientes's protests and gave Adrian Rico a yellow card for diving instead. Adrian Rico kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Bartolo Hegoi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Hilario Eskuin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maximino Txomin. The goal made the score 1-0. Hilario Eskuin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Maximino Txomin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximo Astigar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eloy Ignazio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Mannie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Mannie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Eloy Ignazio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Vertientes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Todd FC:s goal. In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Todd FC. Bartolo Hegoi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eloy Ignazio. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Maximino Txomin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justo Ledesma went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Todd FC's Jacobo Damario got a free kick in the 59th minute. Maximino Txomin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Ledesma in the 62nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Vertientes's Eloy Ignazio got control of the ball when Rodrigo Mannie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Justo Ledesma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Txomin having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hilario Eskuin in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Txomin saved Todd FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Vertientes's Aquiles Miliano got a free kick in the 77th minute. Vertientes's Eloy Ignazio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Vertientes from getting a goal against them. When Amancio Errando fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Todd FC's protests and gave Amancio Errando a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Todd FC got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Errando. Maximino Txomin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justo Ledesma's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Maximo Astigar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Ledesma in the 90th minute of play forced Todd FC's goalkeeper Maximino Txomin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justo Ledesma struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Maximino Txomin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vertientes. Maximino Txomin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Ledesma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Ignazio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Astigar in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vertientes had won after a very even match.
