Virgilio Cordarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Juan Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciro Francesco in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Virgilio Cordarius, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Geofredo got free with Virgilio Cordarius in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Virgilio Cordarius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Geofredo in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Estrella Federal were awarded a corner. Juan Torres went to the cornerflag to take it. If Ariel Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Estrella Federal's zone, Ariel Gartzea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Socorro came out of the goal and Ariel Gartzea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeremias Guib scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guaberto Socorro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the game, Cecilio Laurgain lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Virgilio Cordarius. Estrella Federal's Guaberto Socorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Feo in the 32nd minute of play. Guaberto Socorro came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Menga38's Baldomiro Urbez. But to his dismay, Baldomiro Urbez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ciro Francesco might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Cordarius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciro Francesco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Menga38. Leandro Perutxo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Guaberto Socorro. 1-3. Guaberto Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Feo in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ariel Gartzea made a kick off. Rogelio Geofredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Virgilio Cordarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Menga38's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Laurgain came free, but Virgilio Cordarius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Ariel Gartzea notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Estrella Federal's Guaberto Socorro. Guaberto Socorro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Torres in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Cordarius saved Menga38 from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Francesco in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Cordarius saved Menga38 from getting behind. After some careless play in the Menga38 defense, Juan Torres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Cordarius. The Menga38 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Cordarius should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Torres in the 78th minute of play forced Menga38's goalkeeper Virgilio Cordarius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rogelio Geofredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ariel Gartzea came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Menga38 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Gartzea couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute of the match, Ariel Gartzea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guaberto Socorro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 89 minutes, Cecilio Laurgain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrella Federal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecilio Laurgain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Estrella Federal's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Gartzea came free, but Guaberto Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogelio Geofredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Cordarius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogelio Geofredo ran back to his position shaking his head. Baldomiro Urbez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 97 played minutes Estrella Federal got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Laurgain. The Estrella Federal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Menga38's performance. The match ended with a win for Menga38.
