When Baldomiro Urbez fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menga38's protests and gave Baldomiro Urbez a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Menga38 got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Urbez. Ciro Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Menga38 getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Cirilo Patxi hit a great ball. Alejandro Feo came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Guaberto Socorro could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Estrella Federal's Rogelio Geofredo got a free kick in the 12th minute. Leandro Perutxo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guaberto Socorro. Estrella Federal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Cecilio Laurgain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrella Federal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecilio Laurgain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgilio Cordarius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cecilio Laurgain's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. If Cecilio Laurgain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juan Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Cordarius having to interfere. Virgilio Cordarius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Torres in the 31st minute of play. Virgilio Cordarius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Laurgain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Juan Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Ciro Francesco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menga38's Virgilio Cordarius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juan Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgilio Cordarius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Francesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ariel Gartzea made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Menga38 booed when Estrella Federal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Francesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Baldomiro Urbez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Socorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
