Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ciro Chaime got the match started through his kick off. Ciro Chaime sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Silvano Frutos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 26th minute, Silvano Frutos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo Leobardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ciro Chaime received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Arnaldo Leobardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mauro Farias fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sol y Sierra FC's protests and gave Mauro Farias a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sol y Sierra FC's Mauro Farias got a free kick in the 41st minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Ciro Chaime managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sol y Sierra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Chaime was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvano Frutos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Leobardo made a huge save. If Americo Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Americo Izel made the kick off in the second half. Juan Gauargi's late challenge caught a Hereford FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Gauargi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sol y Sierra FC's Juan Gauargi got a free kick in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Sol y Sierra FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Juan Gauargi hit a great ball. Ciro Chaime received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. With a left leg Arnaldo Leobardo saved Hereford FC from getting behind. If Silvano Frutos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Chaime might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Leobardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciro Chaime ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sol y Sierra FC had played much better football throughout.
