Jaime Medero's late challenge caught a Estudiantes de La Plata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Medero helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to BJ FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jaime Medero hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Hugo Kaiet managed to get in a good position for a shot. BJ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Kaiet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Demesio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrian Tirso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Prejun having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Jeronimo Macerio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Demesio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hugo Kaiet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Federico Demesio having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in BJ FC's zone, Adrian Tirso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Prejun came out of the goal and Adrian Tirso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaime Medero got his second yellow card in the match during the 22nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Federico Demesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Kaiet, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Adrian Tirso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Prejun having to interfere. Aristides Prejun made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Adrian Tirso sent off a good shot on target. BJ FC's Aristides Prejun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Henrico in the 44th minute of play. Federico Demesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Kaiet in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and German Henrico made a kick off. Estudiantes de La Plata's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matias Txanton in the 53rd minute. The corner ended in Matias Txanton almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BJ FC's Aristides Prejun did a great save. In the 55th minute, Hugo Kaiet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. German Henrico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristides Prejun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Tirso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Kaiet's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Federico Demesio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hugo Kaiets short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Federico Demesio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. German Henrico struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Aristides Prejun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de La Plata. Hugo Kaiet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Demesio having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. BJ FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
