The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paolo Incendio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maximino Hug charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Incendio in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Garci saved MithrandirFC from getting behind. Lanús's Paolo Incendio got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th match minute, MithrandirFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Derwin to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, MithrandirFC's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Incendio came free, but Cosme Garci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Leo Gitano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Inocencio Salvatore managed to get in a good position for a shot. MithrandirFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Inocencio Salvatore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MithrandirFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
