Spectators: 6649 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Americo Izel started the match with the kick off. Arnaldo Leobardo was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and German Henrico capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. German Henrico really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Arsenio Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hereford FC's Arsenio Nevada in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estudiantes de La Plata's goalie prevented a goal. Arsenio Nevada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Federico Demesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Demesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Izel in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Nevada in the 20th minute of play forced Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper Federico Demesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Tirso scored 2-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Leobardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Adrian Tirso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hereford FC's Arsenio Nevada got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Americo Izel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Federico Demesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Estudiantes de La Plata got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Enol. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, German Henrico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de La Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but German Henrico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Leobardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 45 minutes, Adrian Tirso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes de La Plata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Tirso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Nevada in the 47th minute of play forced Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper Federico Demesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, one of Hereford FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hereford FC. The referee gave Estudiantes de La Plata a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Matias Txanton, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hereford FC's Arnaldo Leobardo. 3-0. In the 67th minute, German Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Tirso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnaldo Leobardo having to make a save. Gilberto Ascencio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Arnaldo Leobardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Txanton in the 81st minute of the match. Astor Musko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Arsenio Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes in the game, Americo Izel fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Federico Demesio having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Arsenio Nevada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Estudiantes de La Plata's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
