Saul Panpili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Caetano having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Panpili in the 13th minute of play forced Sanagasta FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Caetano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sanagasta FC's zone, Saul Panpili stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Caetano came out of the goal and Saul Panpili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Honorio Endura fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sanagasta FC's protests and gave Honorio Endura a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Colon de San Justo got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Urre. Saul Panpili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Caetano having to interfere. Felipe Urre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severo Charro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sanagasta FC were furious when Jonathan Seme was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Felix Firme placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Saul Panpili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Eduardo Caetano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Severo Charro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanagasta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Charro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Sanagasta FC's Severo Charro got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casimiro Ekhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Charro, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of Sanagasta FC booed when Colon de San Justo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Telmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severo Charro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute of the match, Felipe Urre got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eduardo Caetano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 76 minutes, Saul Panpili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colon de San Justo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Panpili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casimiro Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Charro in the 78th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Colon de San Justo's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Charro came free, but Casimiro Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Honorio Endura had to leave the field with a concussion. Joel Telmo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Casimiro Ekhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Sayveon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sanagasta FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colon de San Justo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
