Atilano Abad was a little too slow when Aureliano Napier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 7th minute, Hilario Rosio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atilano Abad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nemesio Lucian went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When Nemesio Lucian came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Deportivo Nefrón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nemesio Lucian couldn't finish the play. After having played for 27 minutes, Jacobo Mouricio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Nefrón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Mouricio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atilano Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Lucian, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a little luck, The Blues's Atilano Abad got control of the ball when Jacobo Mouricio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 played minutes The Blues got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Froylan. 48 minutes into the match, The Blues's goalkeeper Atilano Abad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nemesio Lucian.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nemesio Lucian was the one to do the kick off. Nemesio Lucian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atilano Abad having to make a save. 54 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo Nefrón:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Deportivo Nefrón made a substitution. Remigio Koldobika replaced Nemesio Lucian. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Mouricio in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atilano Abad saved The Blues from getting behind. Atilano Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Ramos in the 69th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Flavio Froylan managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Blues's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Froylan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Ibañez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Remigio Koldobika recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atilano Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Mouricio, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Remigio Koldobika managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Nefrón's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Koldobika was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Abad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Remigio Koldobika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Abad having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in The Blues's zone, Remigio Koldobika stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Abad came out of the goal and Remigio Koldobika tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Froylan struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Oscar Ibañez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Blues. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Jacobo Mouricio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Nefrón's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacobo Mouricio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Abad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Blues's goalkeeper Atilano Abad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo Nefrón players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
