Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Feliberto Evis kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Feliberto Evis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Ongile was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Feliberto Evis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Melquiades Ongile made a huge save. When Rodrigo Polo came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Independencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Polo couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Ongile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulysses Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. A collision led to HIELOyFUEGO getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Rodrigo Senon hit a great ball. In the 17th minute of the match, Aldo Azeari tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Melquiades Ongile saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. HIELOyFUEGO's Melquiades Ongile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save HIELOyFUEGO from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Evis in the 24th minute of play forced HIELOyFUEGO's goalkeeper Melquiades Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoldo Tximitx's late challenge caught a Independencia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Tximitx helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, HIELOyFUEGO's Arnoldo Tximitx got a free kick in the 28th minute. Arnoldo Tximitx kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in HIELOyFUEGO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Feliberto Evis walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Albert Neagoe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Tximitx in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in HIELOyFUEGO's zone, Rodrigo Polo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Ongile came out of the goal and Rodrigo Polo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Feliberto Evis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Melquiades Ongile, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Ulysses Valladares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Ongile read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Arnoldo Tximitx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the match, HIELOyFUEGO's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Evis came free, but Melquiades Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arnoldo Tximitx came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the HIELOyFUEGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Tximitx couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Ongile didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aldo Azeari went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute Aldo Azeari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, HIELOyFUEGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Galo to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Feliberto Evis notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of HIELOyFUEGO's Melquiades Ongile. Melquiades Ongile was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 82 minutes of play, Independencia's Feliberto Evis made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Ongile was left in no man's land by his defense there! Melquiades Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Evis in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute Laureano Maureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89thth minute of the game Feliberto Evis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HIELOyFUEGO's Melquiades Ongile was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Melquiades Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulysses Valladares in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Independencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Romildo to maneuver through the defense.
