The crowd rose to their feet as Feliberto Evis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Gurutz. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Bruno Gurutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulysses Valladares in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dolores's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Feliberto Evis was slow to take the kick. During this time Independencia's players had a chance to rest. Independencia's Feliberto Evis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bruno Gurutz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliberto Evis in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Gurutz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Milian hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Feliberto Evis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Dolores's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Valladares came free, but Bruno Gurutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Evis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Dolores getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Godofredo Dino hit a great ball. Bruno Gurutz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Feliberto Evis. After having played for 28 minutes, Ulysses Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulysses Valladares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Cipriano Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dolores fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Rodrigo Polo scored 2-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Gurutz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Feliberto Evis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Gurutz was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After having played for 42 minutes, Ulysses Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulysses Valladares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feliberto Evis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 43rd playminute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 56th match minute, Dolores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Silviano to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Gurutz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independencia. The supporters of Independencia booed when Dolores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Luken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulysses Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Gurutz having to interfere. Bruno Gurutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Evis, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 85 minutes of play, Independencia's Feliberto Evis made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Gurutz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Dolores's zone, Feliberto Evis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Gurutz came out of the goal and Feliberto Evis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dolores's goalkeeper Bruno Gurutz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Dolores's Godofredo Dino got a free kick in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Independencia getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ulysses Valladares hit a great ball. Dolores's Cipriano Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Independencia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
