The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Galo during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Victorino Galo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind SOHCAHTOA's goalkeeper Melchor Marin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute Marcos Pasqual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Ulizes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gallinas ATR's zone, Enzo Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Ulizes came out of the goal and Enzo Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Ubaldo Tello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SOHCAHTOA's Melchor Marin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gallinas ATR's zone, Marcos Pasqual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Ulizes came out of the goal and Marcos Pasqual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emiliano Ulizes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Erroman in the 26th minute. Emiliano Ulizes came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by SOHCAHTOA's Hector Erroman. But to his dismay, Hector Erroman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Marcos Pasqual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 36 minutes, Ubaldo Tello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gallinas ATR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Tello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Genaro Lauren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ubaldo Tello struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Melchor Marin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gallinas ATR. After a rather tough play, Gallinas ATR's Enrique Jordy got a free kick in the 45th minute. Hector Erroman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Emiliano Ulizes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Genaro Lauren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Enrique Jordy fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gallinas ATR's protests and gave Enrique Jordy a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gallinas ATR getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Enrique Jordy hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, SOHCAHTOA's Marcos Pasqual got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 65th minute, SOHCAHTOA's Marcos Pasqual fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Emiliano Ulizes was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gallinas ATR's goalkeeper Emiliano Ulizes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 67 played minutes Gallinas ATR got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Jerano. Hector Erroman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Ulizes having to interfere. Emiliano Ulizes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Erroman in the 84th minute of play. In the 89thth minute of the game Ubaldo Tello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SOHCAHTOA's Melchor Marin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Genaro Lauren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Melchor Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
