Deportivo Nefrón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Lucian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute Jacobo Mouricio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes Deportivo Nefrón got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Ramos. Nemesio Lucian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Marin having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Enzo Perez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SOHCAHTOA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Nefrón the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, SOHCAHTOA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Perez to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Nemesio Lucian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Nefrón's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Lucian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melchor Marin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacobo Mouricio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Marin having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melchor Marin prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nemesio Lucian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melchor Marin came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Nefrón's Jesus Abechuco. But to his dismay, Jesus Abechuco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Deportivo Nefrón made a substitution. Remigio Koldobika replaced Nemesio Lucian. If Marcos Pasqual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62ndth minute of the game Marcos Pasqual who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Nefrón's Oscar Ibañez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Remigio Koldobika managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Nefrón's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Koldobika was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melchor Marin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oscar Ibañez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Erroman, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Deportivo Nefrón's Remigio Koldobika got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector Erroman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Ibañez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Erroman in the 74th minute of the match. In the 78th play minute Jacobo Mouricio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Melchor Marin. 0-3. Remigio Koldobika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Marin having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, SOHCAHTOA's goalkeeper Melchor Marin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacobo Mouricio. When the final whistle sounded Deportivo Nefrón left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SOHCAHTOA.
