In the 14th minute, Norberto Ignazio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guaberto Frasquito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Elija in the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Dante Pacorro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sevillistas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quinacridona FC the free kick. In the 30th minute, Candido Gaitano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sevillistas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Braulio Maidana hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 44 played minutes Quinacridona FC got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Maidana. When Candido Gaitano came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Sevillistas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Gaitano couldn't finish the play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Candido Gaitano to make the kick off.
