After 5 played minutes, Arroyito FC's Israel Eli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Veremundo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arroyito FC reached it. Nestor Eneas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ernesto Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arroyito FC's Ernesto Loco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Arroyito FC from getting a goal against them. In the 12th match minute, Benítez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Porfiro to maneuver through the defense. Filiberto Cordarryl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nestor Eneas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Arroyito FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nestor Eneas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Nestor Eneas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filiberto Cordarryl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Loco having to interfere. After 30 minutes, Inocencio Chico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arroyito FC and the Benítez players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Arroyito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Chico to maneuver through the defense. Arroyito FC's Ernesto Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Eneas in the 42nd minute of play. If Filiberto Cordarryl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th of the match, Nestor Eneas tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ernesto Loco got in the way and made a wonderful save. Nestor Eneas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Loco having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Inocencio Chico made a kick off. Vinicio Vedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Veremundo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Benítez's zone, Vinicio Vedillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Veremundo came out of the goal and Vinicio Vedillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 57 played minutes Arroyito FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Kepa. Eustacio Fernendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Arroyito FC's Israel Eli seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Israel Eli the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Arroyito FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Israel Eli had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 60th minute, one of Arroyito FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arroyito FC. The referee gave Benítez a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eustacio Fernendo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arroyito FC's Ernesto Loco. 2-0. In the 72ndth minute of the game Nestor Eneas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arroyito FC's Ernesto Loco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Nestor Eneas made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Loco. Arroyito FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Nestor Eneas struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ernesto Loco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benítez. A collision led to Arroyito FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ismael Lohitzun hit a great ball. After 82 played minutes Benítez got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Hernando. In the 84th minute, Vinicio Vedillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cleto Claus struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Joaquin Veremundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arroyito FC. When Ismael Lohitzun came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Arroyito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Lohitzun couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Nestor Eneas notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Arroyito FC's Ernesto Loco. Ernesto Loco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ernesto Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Eneas in the 100th minute of play.
