The audience was convinced that Vicente Semeno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvano Nevada was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. When Antonio Walme came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Judiciales FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Walme couldn't finish the play. Hilario Valerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hilario Valerio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvano Nevada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Vicente Semeno sped through Judiciales FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvano Nevada. 23 minutes into the game, one of Tortuguitas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Judiciales FC's Hermengildo Colas got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Domingos Nisio. After some careless play in the Judiciales FC defense, Tobias Ederono kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvano Nevada. The Judiciales FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvano Nevada should have stopped the shot. Aureliano Aimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Nevada having to interfere. After the first half Tortuguitas were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Semeno to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Vicente Semeno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvano Nevada was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 65 minutes in the game, Vicente Semeno fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Silvano Nevada having to interfere. In the 70th minute Vicente Semeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Nevada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tobias Ederono fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tortuguitas's protests and gave Tobias Ederono a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Tobias Ederono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes Judiciales FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Hondo. Judiciales FC's Silvano Nevada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Judiciales FC from getting a goal against them. Vicente Semeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Silvano Nevada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Judiciales FC's zone, Victorio Beti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Nevada came out of the goal and Victorio Beti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Judiciales FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Santo Gurutz hit a great ball.
